I cant say it will.. I put a 12 bar on my solid steel subframe.. I actualy made it into the frame. im a lil worried one day ima break the ears off but what i did was i bought the cheapest grade bolts for it hoping that just the bolts break..

my 2 cents would be.. replace your subframe bolts with weak ones.. so if u you do crush it.. it wont break in the actual subframe just the bolts..

A buddy of mine took his rear off and when he took his 12 off his whole subframe fell apart. so i guess the 12 was holding it all together.. that was on a f4i and from what i hear and know for my gsxr is they are weaker than the honda subframes..

So over time the light scrapes i would put money on is going to ruin ur subframe..

Get a new subframe - rock ur old one to death or take it off so when u sell it u got the original or a back up either way

its inevitable that the gsxr subframe stock- is going to get demolished.. (over time or in one bad wreck)
