who wants a mirror stay for a 929rr? i'm building them
ok, everyone knows that the stock screen isn't very strong on 929's. i got tired of breaking mine so i built one for my bike and figured it might be a good idea to build them for other people that might want them. I'm leaving right now to go get metal and start on a "production" model.
i made mine out of 3/8" box tubing but i think for the ones i'm going to sell i'm going to use 3/8" round tubing unless someone wants it square. I am going to paint them black and they will be direct bolt on for a 929 with no mods needed except if you want extra support you have to drill 1, 1/2" hole in your windscreen. it's not needed, but really adds extra support.
If you want it a different color i can try that too, as long as i know. I have pics of mine on our website www.terrehaters.com then there is a link in the news section. don't go by that one on my bike because my bike's front end is all bent up and the mirror stay looks tweaked and funny. i'm going to make them off my good bike and they will be nice and square.
who wants one? i'm gonna take some orders on here and also start putting them on ebay. All the procedes will go towards shirts and stickers for my team so it's not goign into someone's pocket, it's going for the team fund.
I would like to sell them for 50$ but we'll start out with the first 5 sold for 30$.

Soumy16, send me an e-mail at the same address and i'll borrow my friends f4i and build one from it for you. It might take me about a week or 2 because i have to get the bike from him and build it from scratch on one of my days off. I don't have blueprints from makign one already so it'll just take me some extra time to get it laid out. I can build one for ya though. Once i get that first one it's all downhill from there.
oh ya, someone wanted one for a 954 so i'm going to borrow a bike from a friend and make a template for them also so soon i'll have a couple made up for a 954.
