Re: thinking about buying this..

id offer him like 1500 as long as the frame and front is straight and then get it for that. i have an 02 also and it works great for a 1st stunter if you ask me. if you do decide to get it, i've got a +10 rear sprocket, brand new that i will sell to you. i decided to go a different root with the bike and dont need it anymore. i got an already dented tank and 12 bar ill let go for cheap as well.

$1500 is max I would pay and that's with me knowing the frame and forks are true.

I was tryin to sell you my bulletproof f4i. I ended up sellin it for 2k, the same price as this piece and it was strait. Good luck and like the one comment said everyone rocks f4is or 636's for a reason.

Re: thinking about buying this..

dont rush into it..it looks like it needs major work... and 2 grand can be put toward another ibke that is much better condition. I had a franken bike before and it wa a nightmare i spent so much money on it... i would have saved time and headache if i only bought one that i didnt need to fix up. It will drain your money, stay away. Also i u are leaving and u cant see the bike, thats already a warning sing that u shouldnt get it.

Re: thinking about buying this..

dont get me wrong, i started stuntin on an 02 R6 that was minty when i got it and it held up and ran strong but i bought an F4i from my buddy that was stunted "HARD" and fixed it up a bit and i must agree there is a reason everones rockin F4i's and 636's. just sold my R6 last week

Re: thinking about buying this..

oh yeah! i could drop my stuntbike 100's of times and the outcome would not be as bad as that R6 looks, so whats it matter weather you buy a stunt bike thats been dropped everytime its been ridden usually by the person who set it up and built it for the purpose of doing just that OR a completly stock bike that someone wrecked hard enough 1 time that they have to sell it because its so mangled!

Re: thinking about buying this..

that year R6 is actually quite durable my boy has one and hes stunted it for almost 2 years with no major damage, just the usual (broken levers, clip-ons, etc). if anyone is wondering he runs a 60 in the rear 15 up front and has a tyger shark cage.

Re: thinking about buying this..

I wouldn't get it. It is going to be a money hole. It seems like the 02 R6s are carburated but I may be wrong. 02 might have been the first year. For that price you can get an 99 CBRF4 that has never been wrecked. Take the plastics off and sell them on ebay. Then you've got a super cheap stunter. That's what I did. My F4 doesn't feel super good doing endos but anything on the back wheel feels fine. Maybe someday I'll be dedicated enough to this sport to buy a new bike and stunt the poor thing. I'd love a new F4i.

let me start by saying SQUID! there is a footbrake and if you can do off peg whoolies, but have kane's delicate throttle control, you had no business trying to make whoolies on it anyways.

now that thats out of the way, his subframe is fine, but he doesnt loop (aka guerilla scrape) his bike. those subframes are made from aluminum square stock just like a F4i's, it wouldnt matter the make of bike, nothing can hold up to that much squid.

evryone knows pre03 r6 subs are made like f4i, 636 subs not the brittle *** cast **** they are made out of on the new r6,gsxrs.....just shut the **** up and make wheelies

what kind of good advice is tellin this dude, when i looped my boys bike cuz i suck the subframe snap....no **** its gunna snap!!

rather tell this dude, that r6 is wadded as **** and for that price u can by a better r6 of the same year or f4i or f3/f2......just look for a better bike man the wadded ones rarely ever come back to life
