eton viper 50 help

my cousins eton viper 50 needs work. somtimes it will start and then you ride it, turn it off, then when you try to start it again it wont. then other times it just wont start, its an 04 so its not old. we checkd,the plug, we cleand the carb, new air filtter, differnt gas but its still all fucked up. any ideas what it could be?

the viper 50 is a 2stroke piece, but none the less..

are you trying to kickstart it or using the electric start???

and for those of you that dont know what it is here.. do i little reading

Check with the dealer you purchased it from. The older eton scooters had a similar problem. The gas will stop coming through the lines. We would pull the fuel line off and blow a bit of air back in to the tank and that would help. they also had a fuel filter to replace the stock one that was suppose to help alot. Hope this helps.

but if it wasnt gettin fuel it wouldnt start at all... he said it starts sometimes and sometimes it doesnt, sounds electrical to me, either that or if the kickstart grabs sometimes and sometimes it doesnt sounds like the clutch..

either way, id blow some air though the hose just cuz it'll be an easy fix if it works

if you got a multi-meter, check the coil to see if it is working. sounds like it might be an intermittent coil.

nice! Hope thats what it takes to get my brothers little quad working. I already tried replacing the plug, cleaning the carb, and jumping the kill switch
