Re: Dented 636 tanks

Don't do the o-town, SUCKS for tank tricks... ok circles, tank circles. Legion John has a nice setup too if I'm remembering correctly. Check my lame *** myspace page, the black/red bike has the best mash.

The one I'm riding with now I lost a lot of spreader rotations and tucking into HC (in a circle) is hard as hell with a far back mash. I keep falling off the tank or needing to death grip the bars as to not fall back into the seat. I can't wait to get my bike back from El Salvador, and my tank from the painter for the backup bike!

Re: Dented 636 tanks

Jesus ***** you picked up a gem! I pushed the rim back with a screwdriver, VERY slowly and it fuels up decent. But like all my 636 tanks its sucks to gas up. You very well may need a new tank and to start over, sorry to say it.

Mine looked similar to that when I got it. THen I just bondoed the hell out of it, sanded it, then spray painted it.
You can make a little more of a lip with bondo.

Re: Dented 636 tanks

Mines not super deep, but I still had to cut some of the splash guard out because it hit the bottom of the tank. It makes it a lot easier to put gas in
