brembo freeplay problem

i cut my lever too short so i bought a new one.

took the old one out and with the hb off the clip-on....threaded the new one in...put it on the right clip-on and re-bled it, then switched it back to the left clip-on.

THE PROBLEM:
now there is maybe about 2-4mm off freeplay before(no brake) till it starts engaging(braking)

wtf?! has anyone had this problem before?

p.s. to those that read my last thread on the brembo....i can lock it up now with just 1 finger...it was a leverage issue like most of you said.

that's what a nice, bled brembo feels like... they're not just rock hard like most shitty masters w/ short levers are.

It's not a problem.... take it out and do some SS circles and you'll see what i mean.

that's how they are.... I love mine like that!!!

P.s you don't have to move it to the right clipon to bleed it.. You can bleed it upside down just bleed it with the banjo bolt

Re: brembo freeplay problem

well... once you can, you'll see what I mean.....

full lever makes a big difference too... i couldn't live without a full length lever.

not only does it give you more leverage, but it makes the "sweet spot" bigger.

awesome:YEAH

reason i started this thread was because before i started this thread, my lever didn't have that freeplay, maybe it was just in my head tho

regardless, the lever-replace instructions don't tell you how far to thread the actual lever in before putting the 2nd bolts thru it so it was very confusing and i thought i did it wrong
