crf230?

I'm moving in january and then either in january or september I'm starting at college for 3 years and I won't be able to keep running my F4.. my question is.. who rocks CRF230's or TTR225's or anything liek that? I'm 6 2 and wanna be comfortable on a bike so a 50 is out of the question.. so who rocks a trail bike for stunting and whats your impression? I've been dirtbiking since I was 12 but my dirtbike is a brick so theres no way i'm gonna even try to stunt it.

Re: crf230?

Please don't get a 230 or teeter totter 225 their horrible dude. A 150f would be WWAAYY better plus they make more "pitbike" stuff for it like big bore kits and stuff, way more nimble to. But a cheaper, and IMO better option for a tall dude like you would be an old school xr200. There just bigass xr100s and they're fun as hell.

Re: crf230?

ya i'm gonna stunt it, and any offroad riding will be trail riding, besides, anything is an upgrade powerwise from my dirtbike right now.. 1984 yamaha BW200 things a ****** tank and I still have fun with it.. just wondering why people say 150 is better then 230? aren't they quite similar?

Re: crf230?

I have no idea about stunting a 230f, but probably wouldn't be tooo bad

A lot of people stunt the 150f though, its a good bike between a 50 and a sport bike

It weighs a ton, and has little power... Making throttle control easy, but making circles and stuff feel sorta like a big bike.

Its definitely a fun bike to bring to the stunt spot and play around on

5'11" 147 wet

The 150f is a fairly small bike compared to like a cr125 or somthin... But I like it for trail riding since I can flat foot it, and I can always get my feet down when I'm in a tough spot

well I'm 6'2" 165 and the 150 looks like a fun bike to ride.. I just figured a 150 or 230 would be a good mix so I can have fun at the spot and still hit trails. I'm goin to a bike show friday but I heard theres only like 2 inches seat height difference between the 150 and 230.. site's are saying the 150 and 230 are the same engine with just a different bore so I'll just get whichever I can find cheap.

Re: crf230?

crf150r is like the 250 two strokes version of the crf450, just a CR80R chassis with better acting suspension and a little dual overhead cam 150 thumper motor, SWEET *** bikes but they're brand new so yeah new price on one of those badboys is gonna run ya 4,199. Not sure if this link will work...

Honda Motorcycles

Re: crf230?

like MX said....the new 150R is a full out race bike that revs like a ****....super fun on a motocross track...but the price tag on a 150f will be alot better for stunting
