What about a 929?! comon guys, tell me :)

Soooo, after 2 years of service, I finally sold her... My lovely F2, which brought me far in this game. From almost squid, to, well, let's say; less squid

But now, I can finally step my game up... I can finally afford a newer bike. I'm still a student, so no big spending for me, but I can go and look for a much newer bike now

I'm thinking about buying a 929

I just love those bikes They way they look, the image, just everything!!

Why not buy a f4i you probably ask? Well, maybe cause 90% of all the stunters in the world have that bike allready I know that's not for nothing, those things are tough as hell, but I would love to have something more original then that...

But here's the problem, I don't know nothing about 929's

I heard that they are very aggressive, and they are very hard to stunt on... That it's dangerous and scary.

So comon everyone with experience about this subject, post up what you think about 929's?

Nags, Darius, Joe Brown and all the others, please tell me...

ARE 929's ANY GOOD??

I learned to stunt on a 900RR and if the 929 is anything like the 900 it's heavy and torquey. it was kinda scary, and now I LOVE my F4I I would say get either a 600RR or a F4I can't beat em. can't be the toughness and abuseability (not a word I don't think but hey) of a Honda.

I learned on a 929, see pic below of it kicking my *** while learning. The best move i made in stunting was going to a 600. much more control and less brutal on my body.

Re: What about a 929?! comon guys, tell me :)

929's and 954's (Nearly the same bike) are my favorite STREET bikes... after having 954's, 929's, F4i's, an R6, a 636... the 929 is just fun to ride.

Right out of the box (given the box is 4-7 years old now) they are awesome for SS, Spreaders, Sitdowns, stoppies, etc.

They're not as easy to ride as a 600 - especially for circles, but they're a great bike. Solid, Fun, and Reliable.

i have a street killer 929 right now all stock an i love it, i do some lot stuff with it (no circles) an it is silky smooth really nice...i rode a buddies 929 with a cage bar an +10 up sprocket an was really impressed wth it...it pulls like a motha ****** on idle so you will def need a strong hb set up...but it was smooth as butter...no handers were cake...i hate 600rr's my choices in order would be f4i, 636, 929......an thats only cus im used to 600's..that guy over in europe is killin it on the 929 suicide jumps nth sitdown circles, etc....not a bad bike

I learned on a 929. Those bikes are awesome. I ride a 636 now and ya i like it alot better but you can do just as much on a 929 as a 636, f4i, and ya just takes more practice and the bikes harder. But its way cooler to see ppl killing 929's like there 600's. Thats scarce these days

Re: What about a 929?! comon guys, tell me :)

yeah well, I allready know it's a good street bike, I've watched that joe brown clip for like a 1000 times But I also want to circle combo that thing...

I wanne see some clips with 929's doing circle's, and giving gas every once in a while... that **** would convince me to buy one of those...

check this guy out J, you probably know him from nice... "le marseillais" he handles the 929 like a 600, circle combos and stuff... he blips the gas every now and then and it seems to work for him...
and last but not least, the 929 is a tank, it takes the beating of a lifetime and still holds up!:YEAH

So you sold that piece of crap?

Cool man, you deserve to get a newer bike!
But i think le marseillais proves its possible on a 929
Maybe its a bit harder than a 600 but i guess its just a matter of practice.
