you want get scared ? look at how the end of your clutch cable is made...lol

shitty *** pot metal melted on to some steel wire....trust me even a shitty weld is about 100 times stronger then the little tit on the end of your clutch cable

plain carbons steel's tensile strength. I think it is 36.6 anyway, it's been 5 or 6 years now.

Ok after reading this thread I decided to do mine took me 10min. cut actuator at bend on 636, added about 5/8 scrap metal from a bucket I have. welded it grinded it painted and it is like BUTTER my friends it is a must and so easy thanks OMR I used what u said and had no problems except I suck at welding small peices no more finger fade when ss combo's and stalls right and left hc fig 8's ok I can't figure 8 them but I stall like **** thanks again on the tip HawaiianDave!

clean and lube your cable and route it so it doesn't have any sharp bends and it gest even better
