Does this make sense???

Anyone heard that removing the gauges all together via just unplugging them, would make my 98 f3 run like dog ****???

Hard to start, and when it does its intermittent runs fine then runs like **** burbles when im doin slow wheelies, sometimes it runs fine but MOST of the time just runs like ****...

I crashed doin a circle wheelie and thought that was my problem so i switched out the CDI,coils, fuel pump and still the same however i was told on cbrforum that my gauges could be the culprit...

Anyone heard of this????

Thanx,
Fiddy

it goes to some air vent valve solenoid. i dont know what that does, but grounding the pink wire will make the bike run right.

Re: Does this make sense???

When you removed the gauges, did you also remove the small hoses (tubes) that were run from the airbox?
