Re: Bike transportation

No you're not paranoid. I hate thievin ************* so if I went the minivan route I would limo tint the windows so they cant see my **** coz that would be the worst having both things stolen. I think I'd be okay with the minivan being stolen but not with the bike. That'd **** me off.

My bikes sit out in the parking lot of my dorms for the first and last 3 months of school (edit: off the trailer***). One I'm in South Dakota and the only worry I have are drunk peeps sitting on them making engine noises...its kinda funny I've seen it happen a few times....and Two I make sure people know me and either like me or know not to **** with me so I know my bikes are safe.

Re: Bike transportation

Yeah its a lot different in Queens. I'd be pissed if I saw someone sitting on my bike making engine noises too.

Not far at all from the house but when its 30 degrees outside I really dont feel like riding the bike to work at 9am in the freezing cold. Summers a different story but winter I'd rather transport that ****. Plus then I got a ride to sit in while I smoke and warm up if needed. :YEAH

Re: Bike transportation

astrovans are definitely pimp. but when you get one cheap chances are it was used by a delivery company and has had the leaving **** beaten out of it, and the fleet mechanics that maintain those vehicles are slackjawed yokels! i'm telling you with todays gas prices the way they are this is the absolute best time to buy a full sized old american v8 truck. people are litterally selling them a dime a dozen. i'm not going to go into chevys better or fords better, but prettymuch whatever you get you can guarantee it will be a piece of cake to work on and it will have the ***** to tow whatever you need. and if its been on the road for 40 years so far, then its probly not gonna quit anytime soon.

Re: Bike transportation

I think I may be able to fit the trailer in my garage but if not then its the minivan or OMR's van maybe. The only reason I like the minivan instead of the trailer is coz I can always have my bike with me no matter where I go. Cant do that with the trailer.
