aftermarket (vortex) clip-ons

i just picked up a set for cheap....

is it better & more comfortable if i have 'em mounted ABOVE or UNDER the tripple?

also, i wanna flip 'em, do i switch the left and right or just flip it up-side down ? and how much should i turn them out?

wats the advantage of havin em on the bottom?

it's different for racing cause u WANT more weight in the front but i'd assume they'd be better on top if ur gonna be stunting?

Re: aftermarket (vortex) clip-ons

my 636 had them stock on the bottom but i dropped the front about an inch and mounted them on top to get them to be higher and more like a DB bar feel, i have mine almost straight across with just a little bit of sweep back but not much. flip left to right and right to left, i love mine, and yes having them on top gives you more of an upright risding position for stunting its a lot better

Re: aftermarket (vortex) clip-ons

I put mine under the triple, but prolly gonna move them on top. at least the clamp gives you a place to put your HB res when u put it up top.

Re: aftermarket (vortex) clip-ons

on my 03 636 i flipped the triple upside down and ran the clipons on top. Flipping the triple allows me not to lower the bike down.

Re: aftermarket (vortex) clip-ons

you have an f4i they wud go ontop stock so put em ontop...unless u have a 954 front end then lower it like an inch and still put them on top...you shud switch the right with the left and turning em out is your preference...do what feels comfortable
