Re: 2005 600RR For STUNT?
I'm with these guys on the placement of the passenger pegs.. I tried to RL on one and it felt retarded... I did notice a lot of room for seat standers and foot on seat though. I always thought the 636 was really cramped in that aspect.

Re: 2005 600RR For STUNT?
I'm 6' 2" and a 1/2 or so, and I have no problems.
I love the bike.
The only thing I don't like is when I go to tweleve on the highway with the exhaust it's WAY back there compared to say an F4i, which doesn't even feel like I'mma loop out. But if I wasn't real heavy on the rear brake, I'd probably crap my pants as I begin to scrape... haha. I know I'm supposed to be all lubby dubby for stunting, but this bike OWNS in the corners. I've gone through three pilot powers in one summer thats with barely any rolling burnouts.

Re: 2005 600RR For STUNT?
The mounts that hold the motor mount get literally crushed and you gotta replace the frame instead of just the mount... I BELIEVE that is the reason and what he is talking about, I'm sure someone will hate on me for trying to explain though

Re: 2005 600RR For STUNT?
16 front 43 rear. right now i run -1 +7...
they are fine for slow stuff, then again i havent stunted anything else really... 03-04 are crammmmpppped. I am 6'1" though... They moved the pegs down n back 1" to the 05-06. My buddy went -1 on his 06, he gettin good at slow stuff, almost scraping exhaust. hes just waitin on a cage before he destroys his bike..... hes been killing it for a 100% stock bike (other than -1) this is his first bike to, only had it a couple months
as far as pros and cons... BP is way the hell back there, take that for what you will... 05-06 forks are nice and stiff, most 03-04's upgrate forks or get stiffer springs. Pegs are cramped in my opinion... tank cover is plastic so its a bit of a project to dent it right. engines last forever tho... im at 20K and not even needing so much as a valve adjustment
I still have a broken collar bone and sprained ankle, so more of me hopefully later on
im on the red 03, kevin is on the silver 06

Re: 2005 600RR For STUNT?
Thanks for the replys guys.
The bike I bought is a
2005 600RR
dual caliper hand brake
60 tooth sprocket
OMR subcage
ESD front and rear pegs
Powers Cage
As for being cramped I dont notice. I came from a 954 wich never felt cramped till now. I was told the OMR subcage makes it more like a F4i stance. This bike looks and feels great so far. This weekend will be my first time stunting a 600 cant wait. Drove 900 miles round trip to get it last weekend and its been there waiting for this weekend to see what its got.
Anyone know what idle cable to use for the idle mod on a 05 600RR?

Re: 2005 600RR For STUNT?
havent played with anything except the external idle, that doesnt change too much...
thought you turned the idle adjustment screw at the throttle bodies to significantly raise/lower idle?
yea the OMG cage fixed the cramping. That and a U bar are next on my list....
thats another con, the subcage is really weak on the RR. nothing a subcage cant fix, looks like you got that taken care of though
