Im gona put my cage, spocket, 12bar, and cage on in the morning so I was thinking I might as well dent my tank in also. . .. but how? do you guys just beat it down evenly with a hammer or is there a certain technique.. . .once Im complete and find a abandoned parking lot im good to go. . .. .

i posted a thread on here about denting friends tanks juts a couple days ago..find it...then follow the same way....get that cap in with ur heel of foot to start the cap, then use plastic sand mallet...about 2-5lb size and beat down..start by cap and work way out..

have fun w/ that!!! especially since your on a 1000... u might need to go +20 so you can do slow stuff
jus do me a favor.... PLEAAAASE get it on camera!!!
on a serious note though... those old gixxers are EASY to dent the tank... and it sounds dumb but works GREAT... if you have one. take a small dead blow mallet and gently dent the outline for the tank... not much just enough so that its a nice smooth line all the way around where you want... have someone hold the bike up strait and make a good solid jump landing on the gascap... then go back and work the rest out smoothly w/ the mattet... dont beat the **** out of it just let the weight of the mallet do all the work

i think i'ma go home and dent my **** tonight. can't ride since it's freezing ***** out and i'm a wimp.
