Full Throttle Adapter is Garbage!!!

Re: Full Throttle Adapter is Garbage!!!
you have NO idea what your talking about!!! it does not CUT threads into the bore it presses them in!! there are NO metal shavings AT ALL when you are done!! {if you followed the institutions} and because it presses the thread in it will not leak of flex! so it's a GREAT design!
Dude its bullshit......cut threads into the master/ press threads into the master.....Its garbage. Hey man its not personal with Bill. The guy is a good guy! But hey HE IS THE ONE WHO INSTALLED THE ADAPTER. I am telling you therre was metal; shavings in the master. Its all chewed up inside and it is because of the adapter. I know you douche bags are all butt hurt because of this bad talk about your poor lame lil full throttle company. Bottom line, the adapter leaked fluid, it pressed/ grinded threads into my master cylinder which caused the leaking to occur, and if you ever remove the adapter part your left with a master thats chewed up and grinded out. For those of you with some guts.....take your adapter off your master....look inside....any questions! Thats it I am posting pics

Re: Full Throttle Adapter is Garbage!!!
I think u just had some bad luck, I broke off two bolts on my full throttle master cause I tightened them too much and Bill fixed it for me both times!
Ive got the adaptor on my stretched gixxer and it works perfect!!! Sticky put it on for me. Bill has and always be very helpful.

Re: Full Throttle Adapter is Garbage!!!
Ok no prob...glad you dont have a problem with it "pressing" threads into your master.....unfortunately, I do....i
Even if mine did seal i still would not prefer an adapter that does this to the master.....come on are you serious about being cool about an adapter having to press threads into the master. The threading chipped away at the seal lip....this is why it leaked out of the adapter. I did put it on....Like I said I sent it to Bill to have it done! You can put it on on the bike....torque it down while its on a rearset and hope you dont tweak your rearset trying to "press" in threads into the master which has none where this part goes. It grinds the hell out of the inside. If you take your master off.....you need a table vise to hold the master in place...whatever I am happy for those of you which werelucky enough to have no problems with this adapter.....I did however.....either way whether it works or not...."pressing threads" aka forcing threads into something without threads in a brake system where contaminants, pieces of debris, or any other foreign particles can be hazardous for the brake system is pretty much a bad idea. My point in case....It ground out(chipped away) the edge where it is supposed to seal against the rubber o-ring....I know I know pictures will be up...they speak for themselves!

Re: Full Throttle Adapter is Garbage!!!
well like i said i have one that is not from ft but looks identical. mine works great put it with the master still on the bike, has never leaked and i have had it out and there is no marring of the master at all, and i am sure that the ft is just as good as the one i have.
go be a squid somewhere else. mabee u should take your bike to someone who knows what the **** they are doing instead of trying to do the work yourself
