Locking out your Back Footpeg?

Hey how do you guys lock your back footpeg out from folding in? I'm afraid it's gonna fold in on me one of these days if i'm on it too high on top of it.

Re: Locking out your Back Footpeg?

mine have never folded, but if your worried about it get a sub cage with solid non folding pegs. problem solved.

if you lock it be ready to break it off at the slightest drop. What i did a while back with an FZR was tack weld the crack on the top side. that way it locked out unless something hit it hard enough. The stock pegs are pot metal so the wasnt a way to weld them out permanantly if you wanted to. Your best bet is an aftermarket subcage

I don't quite get it... Are u talking about the foot peg folding up while busting combos, and then reaching for the peg and not having it in the down position?

Re: Locking out your Back Footpeg?

It makes sense, when you slow your **** down and bring it back, if your left foot doesnt have constant pressure it can fold "back", just like if you were two wheels down it would fold "up", i cant believe more people havnt felt that little give before
