Re: will lowering my bike make it harder to wheelie
lowering a bike is pointless, unless its a looks only bike or for drag racing. lowering it will make it harder to wheelie or stoppie cuz ur putting the center of gravity lower to the ground and making it harder to lift up over the wheels, hard to explain but think about dirt bikes. theyre easier to wheelie and stoppie cuz the suspension sits real high so the weight is already up above the wheels some which makes it easier for either end to lift up. another thing is that when you lower your bike u run the risk of bottoming out when you come down hard from wheelies, some guy on 600rr.net posted up pictures of his header smashed flat from comming down hard on a lowered bike.

When I got the 600RR, it was lowered three inches and took some getting used too but even when I'd have it at balance point it felt awkard and I got nasty wobbles. I raised it back up and after a day of riding I had the smoothest standups and what not that i've ever done.
