Will my 01 harness fit up to it or what I have no clue I\This will be my first major project On the bike So if there is any useful Input you can give me let me know and lil tips and advise will be greatly Accepted.

Re: Engine Question F4i

99-00 f4 carbed banana seat
01-03 f4i injected split seat
04-06 f4i same banana seat

everything will bolt right up...
the only diff is the tail, seat, exhaust
with the 600rr out in 03 is when they went back to sport touring, aka banana seat

Re: Engine Question F4i

everything is the same, i have an 03 which was the last year for the two seat tail they came out with the 600RR in 03, but you could still get the two seat F4i in 03 as well they changed the tail and the exhaust in 04 to make it a sport touring bike cause the 600RR was the new track bike (the "faster and more powerful of the two 600's) so to answer your question drop the old motor out and put the new one in.... I think the old F4 bike as well except for they were not fuel injected, the lower plastic will bolt to an F4i and you can use F4i upper with the F4 lowers the wheels and swingarm and frame should all be the same as well so really...everything should be interchangeable from '99 to present. hope this little history lesson helped... $peedfreak motorsports

Dude , just post on our forum and were more happy to help you out how to do this etc.

I can do all this for you dirty cheap price.

you will need f4i motor , f4i wiring harness with ecu and f4i gas tank thats all. and i can have it done by 2 hours but give me some time do a day or so.
