gsxr question

I have a 03 gixx 750 with a powers cage (don't know if that matters) and i'm pretty big--6'1 250, and when i bring down a tank or sometimes even a regular wheelie, the ****** cage nails the ground!! sparks and everything and i'm worried about the frame. should i be?? i know i'll get smoother in time, but should i get a 1000 front end?? just wondering

heave you tried shortening your cage a bit??? try that if not you need to tighten your forks up. i have an 97 750 and i had the same problem but i just tightened my forks as hard as they would go and then shortened my cage an 1/2 inch to an inch and it worked for me.

Re: gsxr question

yea i use to have this problem myself what you need to do is throttle the wheelie out... it you just back the throttle all the way off your gonna hit the cage everytime! and watch out for bolts falling out on ya!

Re: gsxr question

Yeah definetly tighten your forks. i have an 02 750 rocking an FI cage even it would scrape once in awhile. tightened my forks and fixed the problem. Give it a shot. And just like what DINO said ride it out dont just let off the throttle. Good Luck
