Re: gsxr question

you can put a few more mm of oil in your forks so it foesn't bottom out so easily, have you tried to adjust your compression/rebound?

throttle out of whoolies.

Re: gsxr question

i've adjusted the dials on the top of the forks but i am pretty sure that there's an adjustment on the bottom of the forks in the backs !?!???

i do (usually) do well throttling out of wheelies, but sometimes i do get a little freaked when i'm too far back and shut it down.

also, i keep my bike in a shed and it bottoms out when i pull it in. NONE of my other bikes do that. wondering if it's more fucked up from the crash than i thought when i bought it?

thanks for the help though everybody.

Re: gsxr question

Yes you should be worried about the frame. I call the 01- 03 gsxr 600, 750.....all have a tin foil frame. Yes the frames are weak...specially for stunting. You'll most likely start stress cracks around the neck area of that frame. Be careful. In terms of you hittting the cage coming down from a wheelie you might want to consider adjusting you compression and rebound settings. Stiffen up you compression so it does not compress as much when coming down, stiffen upi your rebound and hopefully it will apply more pressure to rebound your fork rather than saggin down til hits the ground...anyway good luck
