Re: coasters = danger
just imagine having the clutch pulled in and riding the brake while your bouncing your **** off the rev limiter........... then your finger slips off the clutch or the cable breaks while on the limiter........ you can imagine what would happen. it wouldnt be nice.

go ahead n try em, youll find out. lol
i wouldnt say the main reason people crash is mechanical failure. that happens rarly. I would say its more do to lack of knowing whats going on with you and your machine during a coaster. Balancing the bike is different when you don't have the engine involved. you just have to learn the right point to pull in the clutch, let it coaster while trying to be on the brake as light as possible and when your dropping not letting out the clutch to soon that you go flipping backwards. When I coast if I hear the tail scrape then I use a little more rearbrake and if I'm coming down then I don't let out the clutch until I'm far enough forward in the balance point. rev Limiter coasters gets people a bunch simple cus they are coming down so they let out there clutch for a soft landing but the rpms are still to high so they go flipping backwards.
basically coasters are just as dangerous as any other trick. just so happen to be one of my favorite tricks.

I always mousetrapped revlimiter coasters for some dumb reason... panic braking or habit I guess
As far as coming down... you should ride out of em all day long.... unless your scared
