DBB Clutch & HB Cable Routing ??? Pics
Ok, Part II of my DBB cable routing questions. Thanks for your help with the throttle pair... now onto the HB and Clutch!
So here are some pictures of how I have the HB and Clutch cables routed. This is all new areas to me, so again looking for experience before I do something stupid in my routing.
I ran both cables kind of paired up thru the gap between the top of the triple clamp, and the bottom of the DBB. As near as I can tell, this is the only way I'm going to get the stock clutch lever to reach... So... How's it look? Anyone foresee any problems?
TOP VIEW
FRONT VIEW
SIDE VIEW - Shows the cable's natural path before I put the airbox, and tank back on.
SIDE VIEW - Hard to see, but you can make out the HB line on the right of the block, and the Clutch on the left. Does this put my brake line too close to the headers?
REAR SETS - And finally, goes into my master with the full throttle adapter.
TOP VIEW - Here's a top viwe with holding the cables in the position they would be in once the airbox and tank are back on. I did kind of a mock-up of it, and it looks like the rubber boot for the air input that hangs over the frame will hold the cables down.
So... Am I on the right path here? Again the DBB setup has me kind of unsure about the best ways to route things. I noticed that if I try to route my clutch around the forks, and then on the right side of the frame, that it would also get in the way of my acerbis headilght.
So what do you guys think?! Can I pull it off with the stock clutch lever and just follow the brake kinda down the same path?
