Re: Progression Video Number 2!

just got back from practice and all i got to say is "Holy ****" The very end of the day when we were just about to leave i tried a couple more and i leaned back and the back came all the way back to balance point and i had my idle up to 3.5 and i thought i was going to flip and i blanked out and didnt hit the rear brake so i let of the gas getting ready to fall and and then .....nothing happened i was just standing there and the bike wasn't going back or down i was just coasting with no gas!!! I LOVED it... ******* AWESOME FEELING even though i thought i was gonna die. i was going around 20 mph. But Ya i did it again after that and road bp a lil again. then i stopped for the day to end it at a good note.:YEAH:YEAH:YEAH:YEAH:YEAH

o ya and the stuntaid cage isnt shity at all. ita solid and its been dropped a couple of times and hasnt been bent yet!
i hear u on the smashing down part. i smash down a lot. But I'm trying to imprint it into my mind by using it by bringing the bike down and I ride it down with more throttle to avoid smashing.

post more vids they help!

Re: Progression Video Number 2!

Ya once you **** your self a few more times you'll get more comfortable at that point. I dont remember who said it but dont chase em like you are in the vid. If you dont get it within the first 30 or 40 feet then just let it down and try again. Once you get the feel for it and learn the brake you'll be able to clutch it straight up to bp. Its a good feeling when you learn it, everything else is easy after that.

And dont consider it practice man, just ride for fun. Practice makes it sound like work or somethin

yea and don't ride everyday, some time off is good. i stopped riding for like 2 weeks a while back and when i got back on it i started using my handbrake and footbrake and leaning way back. just from taking a brake and getting back on, guess the mental rest helped i can't explain it.

since that day at hp when i FIRST ever clutched it up like 2 feet by holding in the clutch for 3 seconds and reving it like 4-5 times then dumping it , i've been improving everyday. i would say its been 6 practice days in the coarse of a month! ....it was that first day when i actually really clutched it up that got me off to a good start. then couple days after learning to clutch it up 3 feet lol i started doing squid wheelies (riding out 6 oclock wheelies chasing my bp and landing at the rev limiter in 1st gear) ....since that day i almost fell off....well i kinda did fall off doing a wheelie lol, i sticked to learning my bp before doing any fast ****. now i can clutch it up going 5 mph ALMOST right to bp. most of the time i clutch it up to 10 oclock and slowly move back to bp.
