for big guys

I'm going to buy a 1992 cbr600f2 from a friend. I weigh in at like 250lbs. I was wondering if it would be smart to upgrade my rear shock if I plan to stunt with this bike? I was also wondering if the F2 is a good bike to start on and if there are any tips for big riders out there? thanks.

bro you can adapt to anything if you try hard enough. My first bike was a 87 interceptor 700, I had no problems with it. Now I'm on an 01 R1 and still no problems.

hey, thanks alot for all the replies. So I guess the thing to do is gear it. So my next question how many teeth should I go down/up? And the bike is already jetted for a pipe, but the pipe was removed, so should I buy a pipe or leave the stock one on and re-jet it? thanks again.

I'd re-jet it and start off 1 down in front, 2 up in back for gearing.
