Any Pics of OMR Subcage?

Re: Any Pics of OMR Subcage?
If you are looking for a subcage with foldable pegs...OMR is the only choice. Sick has a subcage (I have one on a bike of mine) and it has these huge long solid pegs. Plus I dont really like the flat bar on the sides considering most crash cages are made with round bar....just seems to look better. They said they are developing brackets that attached to the subcage which allow for use with stock pegs...but whatever. To be honest I was not very please with sick innovations. I order a subcage and twelve bar from them....Although great customer service and quick delivery, there were some things that I did not like. The twelve bar came with out any instructions, no big deal, but when I go to mount it up I notice the rear mount is in the path of a insert within the tube of the subframe. Long story short they didnt know what the hell I was talking about and I had to grind the side , break out the insert then bore out the holes large enough on all four mounts on the subframe so the bolts will fit. I dont like the idea of having large holes in the subframe just to mount the twelve bar. Clamps or other methods would be stronger and better. Secondly, they did not incorporate any exhaust mount into my subcage. At least OMR you have your mount on the right hand side right where it should be without having to mount it behind a peg. Thats what sick innovations is telling me. That I have to mount the exhaust behind the right peg. I said, "wont that kick out the right side peg." there like, "yeah."...lol thats lame. one side longer than the other. But they took the time to incorporate the name "sick" into the back.....I knew I should have just ordered another OMR! I have a Powers subcage on another bike of mine. Definate powers makes quality parts and excellent powdercoating which is far better than that of sick inn. anyway the point being that powers still is a solid peg...which not sure is going to save or kill the subframe...they offer subties which are supposed to help but the bike I have all the powers on they have not developed the subties...so it looks like I am SOL. anyway the point of all this talk is that there really is only one choice if you want a quality built subcage at a reasonable price..WITH FOLDABLE PEGS, OMR is it! Enough said

Re: Any Pics of OMR Subcage?
well since all the other rr's are stubby i suspect the 1000 rr is probably the same way so i would ride the bike and move the pegs if it was but i have to make the decision because once i make the jig thats how all of them will be made from there on in but yes i probably would move them down back and out
Bump for OMR!

Re: Any Pics of OMR Subcage?
OMR I will definately be getting one of your subcages for my f4i this winter. I was just waiting for everyone to compare the different brands before choosing but I'm definately going with yours.
I just told some cats about it too. They have 06 R6 and 06 R1 and the rear peg location is the suck of life for standups. The tail makes it hard to use especially on the R1. I see you make them for R6 but how about R1? Proabably not many requests for r1 subcage...
