now you tell me......i was wondering why they look short as **** ,,,i guess its still better them my stock

 

liks what mods did youhave to do to make the rc51 front work? .............an can i have your endo button

 

i have clip ons for you off an 07 1000rr 50mm stockers

 

they're the same length from the bottom triple to the axle as the stock f4i front end.

only problem is you have to mount your clipons under the triple so you lose a little more than 2" of length.

I know Bill at FTI has a triple that allows top mount clips... and HoHey has one in the works....

At least w/ the 1000 front end you get the radial mount calipers and front master.

 

stockers suck *** for hand brake mounting and you cant turn them out for ****.... not to mention they're low as hell.

If you had no problems w/ the stock front end, then why did you swap to the RC51??

 

i put the 1000rr front on my f4i and it was amazing. yah u gotta grind the steering stops down some so u can get a good turning radius and the stock clip on position is low so id recomend gettin some 636 or aftermarket clip ons and flip em to raise ur body positoin some. otherwise thats a sick front end for the f4i.

humm you sure i have them sitting side by side and there like 2 inches shorter....

 

The 600rr front end is nice but wont let you turn for ****. You do have to cut the stops too. Even swapping to a 1000rr front end you lose some turning. Never tried other brands. you can dial in a stock front end pretty good thought, but you have to do more than just turn the screws.
Plus an inverted front end wont make you magically learn to endo. But they are cool

 

I have an R1 front end (black forks). you just need to drop in a custom upper tripple bearing (10 bucks from NSK) and the whole thing drops right in. Same bearing to get a gixxer front end to fit I think

 

yeah that was somewhere between 300 and 400. i wanted to push it more and have more stability and braking power. the pogo wasnt that bad..

yep, i just couldnt run the ram air covers but like i said before if u run some aftermarket clip ons or 636 clips then u shouldnt have a problem.

 

All you need is a 929/954 lower triple tree. Everything else is RC51. I had the front end, rims, and swing arm from the RC51 on my f4i. Hyperryder came up with the idea and put it all together.
