I actually dont have a bar on my R1 - my boy tony scraped it - i havn't. I just ride the RR.

Its easy enough to make a bar, just measure it up & bolt it to the subframe.

I drag the brake the whole time. but everyone has a diff. style or riding. I think it rides smoother when you have a constant drag on the brake, not choping on & off it. but do what ever you need to do!

I am learning sit downs first. I have tried both and have trashed the bike on both. I feel more comfortable with sitdowns.
There is a little influence from PBR for me. I have gone back and done a couple of stand ups. They are much easier to do once you have sitdowns figured out.
