Rebuild or Part? (pictures)

Basically, i crashed my 07 zx6r started parting it, got another bike, another job, and am having second thoughts on maybe stunting it..

needs the following-
front wheel
both forks (not positive..they dont look bent but im not sure)
lower triple
front calipers
ecu
radiator leaks
subframe is bent
front rotor

all fairings are trash

alot of other little things..but thats basically the minimum..what do you guys think? unsure of if the frame is bent...and theres a few old bikes around here, and i was thinking of maybe buying one and try to swap the front end..possible?

Well you just answered your own question. doesnt look like there is 8g worth of parts on that thing, so no matter what you will be payin monthly.

Fix it and street fighter it so at least you can ride it while you pay. Plus it's a good bike

If you own 8g's on it, than you would have to carry FULL coverage on it, therefore you need to claim that bike on insurance buy it back for cheap and stunt the crap outta it.

Peace Justin

+1 8 grand into a stunt bike is insane!!!!! better off claiming it stolen and collect the cash and payoff the loan. bike gone = payment gone

+1 no one is gonna pay 8gs for that thing or in parts, either fix it up mint and sell it for whatever you can get for it, claim it on insurance, or make it into a lawn ornament and have fun payin for it... pretty simple answers

Re: Rebuild or Part? (pictures)

The bike was insured through progressive with LIABILITY ONLY. full coverage wasnt required?

when i crashed it, the police took a report on it so im afraid to get full coverage and claim it..since it had previous damage...

Re: Rebuild or Part? (pictures)

Man here in Missouri you can't even have a loan on a bike and NOT have FULL coverage. If you have the title in hand and the bike paid off though, now that's a different story.

Dang newbies and buying BRAND NEW bikes and crashing them. Sucks for you man, but good luck.

PS: For every newbie reading this BUY A DANG USED BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will save you a ton in the short and long run. LOL
