get an old cheap bike to stunt on, and then stunt ur minty bike when ur better????
when u get better is when u try more and more dangerous **** = braking ur bike more.......

cause u have better control once u get the bp down pow pows are more harmful to the bike than slow ones not that hard to figure out whats more expensive rearsets and cases or a whole new bike

somehow my bike is still minty.... not hardly a scratch on the bike. the cage is another story. I even went down after getting bounced over the front after bringing a HC back past BP at the top of stock first gear (70mph) then mousetrapping it. It just ghost rode through 100yds of beach sand. My pizza is in the mail, i just picked up some beater fairings to put on it for slow stuff... save the minty ones for later

If you're gonna push the limits.. you're gonna ride a crunchy bike.. might look good after you rebuild it, but that thing is going to hit the deck sooner or later. I toss my bike away and run it into walls/barriers, stair railings, etc.. on a daily basis. I treat it like a bmx bike.. watch it tumble, pick it up and do it again.

same reason why you still pro riders with custom paint jobs. once you get over the basics your falls usually arent as terrible like ghost riding a scrape, constantly falling. I fall numerous times a day and its mostly just circle **** so that cage takes most of the beating. My paint job and plastics are still holding up after the year but now are finally getting pretty beat up ater almost 11 months of dropping it...

One reason is because i would keep buying new bikes from the shop and after i got to where i am now i look back and think of all the money i could have saved while i was learning and wish i would have just bought a salvaged bike or something to fix up and ride . instead of getting new bikes. But i guess you live and learn.

I always had beaters knowing how I am, a new anything would be trashed in no time, plus I aint much of glamor guy my mom used to dress me funny an back in the day I would be the only guy on the sea side strip wearing my work clothes while everyone was all dressed up with their shiny bikes to pick up chicks

IMO.... The more You get better at Stunting ...The Wayyyy better You are at Making "Saves"
great Stunters = great at saving crashes compared to newbs , anyways ...just my 2 pennies

you should know better ....just cause it cost a certain amount to build something ....Doesnt mean it's worth that much
especailly after being crashed...how many times ? 
Pimp out a car with Stereo and Paint and Wheels etc...and see if you get all your cash back when you go to sell it ? It is a "Given" that You will lose $ when Pimpin out **** .... c'mon now
