good deal?

So ther is an 03 600rr 20 min away from my house, salvage title, light damage everywhere on fairings. all the big parts look straight. the guy wants 2200$. i'm thinking stunt bike, but arent quite as desirable as an f4i. debated repairing it and making a sale come spring. i realize with no pics and not too many details its kinda hard to get a great idea of the bikes condition. just thought i'd get a few opinions! i'll try and get some pics today if i get an oportunity to check it out.

Re: good deal?

I believe it's quite the process to get a salvage bike road worth like a lengthy process.... From what I hear it needs to have an extremely thorough inspection.... I also if I heard correctly on a "reconstructed title" youre insurance is dirt cheap because the bike isn't really worth anything (theft insurance lowers your compensation great deal.) Don't quote me on any of this I don't work for the DMV nor an insurance company, thats just word on the street.

Re: good deal?

thats a decent price if you stunted it out and tried to sell some **** off the bike you dont need...to make up for some cost...idk only bad thing is it doesnt have inverted forks!

Re: good deal?

thanks for the replies! i didnt get a chance to check it out today, hopefully in the next day or two when the place is open (its at a shop that only deals in bank/police repo's, and **** like that). i'll have to call the DMV and stuff too and try to get the full scoop.
