Reverse Gear

Re: Reverse Gear
i cant believe you just said that....
so lets see about the physics of this ideocracy shall we?
your momentum is going forward so you pull in the clutch throwing down an AWESOME coaster just long enough to switch to REVERSE and let the clutch out bringing your full momentum to a COMPLETE HALT (slamming the front end down..jus fyi) just in time to wheelie off directly backward??
you sir are truely a genius!!
now that would just be cruel....
I'm prolly the youngest guy in this thread and I already have at least 3 people beat in the physics department....that is sad!!

Re: Reverse Gear
Im almost sure Goldwings reverse works off the starter running backwards. Thats what ive been told. Not sure if it can do it with the motor running or if its not. And why would you ever want reverse on a bike so small. If your on a hill just rotate that bitch on the kickstand.Or do a quick chainsaw haha.

Re: Reverse Gear
Before I get flamed...
There are some many things done to bike to get it stunt prep'd how much harder would it be to add a reverse gear to the trans? Obviously this means a new trans, but there would be a market for it.
So my real question is, besides that huge weight gain and larger size, why hasn't it been done yet?
Why should wheelies only be done forwards?
Where is the backwards no handed circles?
