dream job

i have an awesome job. i'm a salesman at a honda, yamaha, suzuki shop in york pa....actionmotorsports inc.
i get paid to talk about bikes all day. i buy them 100 over cost, get them fixed albut free. order parts at cost and can run a tab. oh yeah it is awesome cash. this year sucks so far though. i am always in the top 20% in our region wich lets me afford alot of cool toys most of wich i've been selling off to buy a house..just sold an 01 gsxr1000 totally customed, chromed, motor etcc.sold two gsxr 750's currently i have a 2000 s281 saleen mustang #340..you guessed it it's for sale. and i totally pimp 87 dodge ram with white wall tires!
i ride a 00 929 and a 89 fzr1000. me and my old roomate split the cost of an 03 trx250ex
and i moved home last month to save for a house. my advice anyone who likes bikes and isn't happy with their job go to your local shop and see if they are hiring salesman. oh ya anyone in the pa ny nj or md area want a smokin deal on a new or used bike/quad hit me up with a pm

i am 20 years old, belong to the boilermakers union. i build and repair powerplants. do alot of welding, fabricateing, rigging. really great job. pays great. hours are kinda f^*(ed up though. i may work 60-84 hours a week for a month or two and then be laid off like i am right now and just sit around and ride all day(sometimes).kinda nice. i own my own place and live by myself, have a 900RR, and just bought a 2003 ext. cab chevy truck, and have a 91 s10. i buy and sell allot of stuff and try to make some extra cash, and work on the side sometimes for a residential construction company building houses.

I'm a full time student (Virginia Tech), I dont' pay all of my own bills but I got enough money to if I had to. The Air National Guard pays for all of my tuition, gives me $800 a month (except during the summer) and some people get bonuses, depending on the job, if I'd signed up about a year after I did I would have gotten 8g's on top of what i'm getting. There are of course certain disadvantes to this, which is why I'm in the middle east right now. I'll be back for the fall sememster, and might even get a summer session in too. I usually work 1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year for them but bush is starting ww3 so what can ya do......... gotta love the military. I don't got a bike right now bc my F3 got stolen while I was over here, I'll have a 2001 gsxr 750 when I get home, and I got a blown 97 honda prelude with lots of engine mods (no looks bullshit like rims.....). I work during the summer too. For the mean time I'm working on C-130 aircraft and saving a couple g's a month for when I get home.

Lightbulb The prime jobs

You need to get one of the prime jobs I call it. First is the motorcycle shop job easy parts/services (backdoor). Second is the money job Loan officer or sales if you have the right personallity for it big money maker. pay for the stuff . Theird is the mechanic There you may not make all the money but you can figure out how to fix the thing and tell what bikes are worth fixing up and not.

I am an airplane mechanic not the best time for it but still it what I love to do cut grass on the side for some ching ,ching haveing a house means you get the money back not loseing it to some one else. Plus equity line of credit works well. My bike was payed for with cash. 3000 was not to bad for a mint 89 cbr 600 with 9k miles and I have had it for 4 years and it still running strong. had a junker for parts/stunting.

I'm a full-time engineering student. I work for my Dad depending on homework. My parents bought the house I'm in as an investment, so thankfully I don't have to pay rent at the moment. I was paying rent when I bought my first few bikes. I just saved and saved up about 2k and bought my first piece. Then gradually saved more, traded in, and so on. At leas I own my stuff. It sucks when a lot of people around here have new bikes, but I figure I'll make enough when I'm outta school. So I'm stuck waiting. Most of my paychecks now go to the vet and dog food for the little monsters.
