Re: out running helicopters
Helicoptors depending on the model/ will travel 125 knots - 150knots....
You will likely not out run one but near airports (when planes are landing/taking off the chopper will stop) but they will outlast you in distance and when u are turning they ar flying straight)...
Plus they video everything and the image quality is usually pretty good!
I'm not saying it's impossible but.....if you are in a city you are caught 97% country area a little less! but pretty good odds you will get caught!

Re: out running helicopters
Choppers all over here !! The last 2 times i got pulled over they waited till the co. sheriff chopper was directly over head.
It would have to be one straight, long *** road to even have a chance. IMO

Re: out running helicopters
its luck....u gotta be in the right place....i been chased by one....recently....and i got a way cause i was in a wooded area w/ winding roads.....they r fast....sure we can sometimes do up to 200 m.p.h. w/ stock gearing om a 1000....but we can not turn at that speed....they can turn and not worry about stop signs and traffic at 130mph.....think about it.....
