Moving F4i Idle screw?

I wanna re-route the idle screw up where I can reach it much easier. Is there a kit or what can I do to bring it up higher. I saw a guy that had his coming out of his air duct on top.

Idle Mod.. just buy another idle cable and there is a set screw on the throttle bodies remove it, the cable will screw right into it. it will run to about your air duct on air box. leave your factory where its at.

Re: Moving F4i Idle screw?

You need to get a 900rr idle screw (they are the correct thread and are longer) Step 1 set your idle to 1200 rpm or wherever you like stock idle. then You take the airbox off and in front of the throttle bodies is a screw on the idle butterfly with a dot of white paint on it. Remove it and replace it with the 900rr idle screw. route it where you can get to it and put your **** back together. done.
