2006 Suzuki Gsxr 600 as a stunt bike

What does everyone think of using a 2006 suzuki gsxr 600 as a stunt bike. the only person i can think of that uses gsxrs to stunt is jason britton. i first started with gsxrs, 01-03, and had really bad experiences, (blown motors). i'm just wondering if maybe the newer ones are better. i'm just buying from a friend on payments and a contract. i just dont have the credit or money to buy a honda or kawasaki. and i just really need to get back into it. let me know. thanks

got rid of that bike about two months ago. got it for $1000. it was wrecked. but it was the best stunt bike i had. but now i have no money saved up. and my friend is willing to sell me his gsxr on payments.

you may be broke now, but you will save a boatload of money in the long run if you just buy a f4i compared to the amount of money that you will have to put in for payments and repairs on the gsxr. if you just want a stunt bike you could find a f3/f4 for cheap too

Re: 2006 Suzuki Gsxr 600 as a stunt bike

I got an 06 and I love it except for the subframe - so far anyway. I'm also a beginner and drop my bike a lot and gorilla scrape the tail and that almost always results in a busted subframe. I'm selling my GSXR and I just picked up an F4i. I have a steel subframe for the GSXR if you want it. I bought it before I was gonna sell it and it took so damn long to get to me that I just got fed up and picked up the Honda. PM me if you're interested.

Re: 2006 Suzuki Gsxr 600 as a stunt bike

ive ridden my best friends 06 and i hated everything about it. the idle pulls like ****, u gotta crank it up to like 5k rpms with the clutch in and then when u let the clutch out it bogs down to like 2k rpms with a +7 sprocket. the whole feel of the bike is doo doo. twitchy *** throttle response dont like that bike at all.

Re: 2006 Suzuki Gsxr 600 as a stunt bike

there crap. might as well save the money and get a better stuntbike, 636, f4i, f4, even f3, or like 600rr. its cheaper and better. Jason brittonrocks that bike cus he gets them free. and he reenforces his subframe and all that extra junk

Re: 2006 Suzuki Gsxr 600 as a stunt bike

if you get a gixx.. dont get the new ones with the shorty cans.. 04-05 series.

those are sick.. the new ones look nice and all but theres been threads where guys set down wheeleis on highway rides and end up going down due to frame snapping.. ive seen like 3 or 4 threads about it.. but then you got guys like Ryan Lanier whos rockin a streched Gixx 600 with a faaty tire in the back and you get to pondering

you can stunt it if you want just reinforce the subframe. Hell if its such a shitty stuntbike and you get good at stuntin it then when you get the dough to get another 636 then you will be that much better at stunting. Just my .02. **** a gixxer 6 is better than no bike at all...

If it's such a big ol "POS" and "hard to stunt", and you can rock one, then to me it is a compliment to own one. and a noble effort to attempt to learn on one.

I think mines a sick lil ****** animal!!!

As for pics, here is an older one, sorry for the poor quality....
