My bike is leaking oil and coolant and it looks like it is leaking from the top of the engine. getting ready to tear it apart tonight just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue or any insight as to what the problem might be.

Somthing I just realized, when I stripped the wholes out for my motor mount I drilled them threw and just ran a bolt with a nut. But it made a small hole in the block. I put a sick innovations cage on this weekend and you cant get a socket in the tubes so I just ran it kinda loose for the day. I;m wondering now if when I put the bolt threw it was keeping it from leaking and now that the bolts came loose theres nothing there to close the hole. I put oil dye in and found a small leak at the stator that I knew was there but got the air box off and cant see any leaks up top where the fluid was running from.

well yeah, lol, some information like that sure does help. people always say my bike is knocking and leave out the little details that they are running coca cola in it instead of oil. sounds like you might need to take all the fairings, tank, airbox, valve cover, and whatever else and do some investigating

 

I put some jb weld on and stuck a bolt threw it, hopefully that was it.

I thought it was fixed, it only took 10 minutes to start coming out last night after driving 45 min to go ride. Looks like it may be coming from behind the waterpump, but theres residual fluid coming down from the back, below the throttle boddies. I guess I'll be tearin it down on a friday night. Ant thoughts, well appericated.
