Down but not out......
Yo Ryan;
It was great talking on the phone with you the other day. We had alot of laughs about alot of things and that was really awesome. There will ALWAYS be a place in the shade under the U.S.B.W. tree for you brother but you know that. You've got some good friends out there in the midwest pal.
......and while you're at it ****** guy try to smuggle me out one of those bags of morphine out of the hospital. "Them ***** are gangster"!! Shove it up your *** if you have to!! it's getting cold up here in Vermont and I need something to "Numb the pain"!!!
Medic!!
"I miss the stunt-bike world"
All the best

i can't believe that i'm typing this from my home computer....second i don't understand fully why i'm crying i SHOULD be really happy.....third, if i didn't have the group of friends and all the support that i have had through this experience i would have been in bad shape.
this whole experience was just hard, from using a walker and crutches with a broken collar bone to learning how to remember who was just in the room 10 seconds ago. physically and mentally, i never thought i would be put though this, i graduated college, learned many different stunts on my bike that are super technical, rolled big time distance stoppies, all those are EASY compared to losing a body part and breaking most of your bones on the left side of your body. I'm so thankful for all the people who have supported me, most of all my parents, i'm an only child and they have been tough.
everybody wants to know what this is going to do to my riding career....that bitch that crossed the center line may have taken my left leg and put me through more pain than i knew was possible, but she isn't taking what i live for. i'm going to get 100 percent healed up and make sure my head is straight before i throw a leg over the stunt bike but i'm thinking i'll be ready possibly in feb. or march.
i really want to thank all my close friends though, as small as it may have seemed to come and visit me in the hospital, THATS what pulled me through this. I HAVE THE BEST FRIENDS ANYBODY COULD WISH FOR, BOTTOM LINE. thanks guys for being there for myself and my parents you guys know how thankful i am to be here to clutch it up again.
i will keep you all updated but from here on out it's just time...everyday is a challenge to negotiate small obstacles that before i wouldn't have even thought about....
THANKYOU.
