I have an '04 R6 and I'm 6'-2", I was wondering if I'd bang my shins... but, a friend of mine wears Lizard Skins (soft shin guards, mostly worn for freestyle BMX)
cage doesnt bother me during normal riding...mostly happened learning sit downs. im only 5' 11"

Powers are good, but if for the money, the SI is a better cage. Tigershark's hold up really well, but you'll pay a lot more for them. Just stay away from Stunt Aid, they are cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Re: Powers Stuntworx cages?

If you have to modify your bike for a cage or not all depends on the bike itself. And sometimes on the cage you choose.
