Exclamation SQUARE BAR vs. ROUND BAR

I want to know the truth about this.... pros and cons of each type... limitations stories personal experience with both types... whatever...

My bike is almost done so ill put a bar un it...i used to have a square bar un my MX bike, it tended to corkscrew when 12ed sloppy that would be solved with a round bar but i must forget about bar tricks....

You guys say why you choose each kind of bar....

Re: SQUARE BAR vs. ROUND BAR

i want to know the benefits of the round bar... why would someone miss lots of tricks (bar tricks) by installing a round bar?

Re: SQUARE BAR vs. ROUND BAR

You will loose a few bar tricks. My round bar is almost flat now so I can do apehangers if I wanted to. You can hit it at a angle and it wont corckscrew you like a flat bar does

Re: SQUARE BAR vs. ROUND BAR

This thread again? Wow!!! Round bars are more forgiving when you don't bring it back just right, but you will loose some tricks with them. If all you do it scrape, I'd go round

Re: SQUARE BAR vs. ROUND BAR

The flat bar is pretty much a guillotine when you flip a stoppie. At least with a round bar you get hit with a passenger seat.

Re: SQUARE BAR vs. ROUND BAR

I now run a round bar, no edge to catch when doing circles, looks nicer in my opinion and is more forgiving. As for seeing one on an f3, i fabricated one for mine, but I also have a 600rr tail on mine too
