Differences between 03-04 and 05-06 CBR 600rr's...

i know this thread is newbish, but i need to know and dont know much about CBR's...

I know the 05-06 has better (up-side-down) forks... but beyond that i dont know the differences between the two...

Would one of you 600rr specialists please enlighten me... what's different on them, whats the same, how they compare to each other in terms of rideability for stuntriding... i was told the 05-06 pulls harder on idle.. is this true???...etc...

Ok... fire away and thank you for reading my newb thread for the year...

Yup, what JP said.

The 05/06 is supposed to have a few extra HP's as well.

You thinking Street Killer or new stunt piece Aviator-Guy John?

prepare for shamless plug i have the solution for the bad peg position ,i move the rear peg position on the OMR SUBCAGE back down and out for the 600rr and it makes the bike very roomy

$175 shipped..

They both have 2 injectors, there are slight differences in the FI but they both have 2 injectors per cylinder 03-06...

Re: Differences between 03-04 and 05-06 CBR 600rr's...

from all the 600rr's ive stunted, the 05-06 feels like the motor is a lil stronger.

other than that, you already know about the forks and the rear passenger peg. but the passenger peg isnt as bad as people say it is.

oh yea, and if you like to turn your clip-ons out, dont get your hopes up if you plan on runnin full fairing cuz it aint gonna go very far.

couple cuts here and a couple cuts there and you are a full fairing machine!! you just can't turn your clip-ons all the way out like dirt bars!!!

not. measure the two. youd be suprised. besides that, you sit WAY on top of a 600rr, where as the sport touring f4i, you sit lower or more into the bike.
