So with planning on turning my recently un-minty 636 into a stunt bike I'd still like to be able to ride it on decently long trips for work if needed, I.E. ride from eastern washington to L.A. or vegas.

I definently want to gear the bike and having a master link in the chain is bad joo-joo to me. So I got to thinking, spare cush drive with a stock sprocket on it and then buy some of those swingarm extenders, would just need to do the math to figure out what sprocket would end up with the same length chain as say a 6 inch extension. Then I could rock stock gearing to travel for work and keep the other sprocket and cush drive in my backpack, get where I'm going and swap them out, then swap back for the ride home.

its possible but i wouldnt recommend it at all ur relying on a chain that ur putting to the limit if ur good and seriously bolt on swingarm extenders are extremely gay your squidly color would be salmon or magenta

i run a clip style master link just make sure its installed all the way into the groove and facing the right way [closed end points in direction of rotation] and you will be fine i also have a spare cush drive so i don't have to bolt and unbolt sprockets
