They have the most meat on em so they're nice and round... nice for easy turn in... and predictable mid-circle (especially on faster ones).
And the dude runnin 10 psi !?!?!?!?

oddly enough, i just put a 208GP race tire on mine, brand new, and it drops hardcore to the right. i've never had problems before on mine and now its crazy drop it. i have to literally THROW the bike into a left circle....i can't ride a straight slow wheelie on it right now. no idea what's wrong with it. tire alignment is perfect, actually didn't change from my last tire. so far i'm not liking the GP tires.

I hate that ****, I threw on a supercorsa race tire and after one ride spooned it off because it fell so far into a circle that all it would have been good for would have been something like 70 kph circles. I find used street tires that have been worn in the middle.
holy tonque twister!

As said by someone above..... Race tires SUCK. I've had same experience w/ supercorsa race rears...
It's something to do w/ their sidewall construction.

Re: 12's on a brand new tire????
runnin the sport touring tires is nice cuz they stay consistant. theyre already flatter in the middle than a sport tire so no break in time and theyre stiffer so they dont fold when u dip into circles and you can do burnouts for days on em with little wear. i usually run dunlop 220's for the rear but im gonna try a pilot road next cuz ppl seem to like them. i run like 20 to 25lbs rear with this tire and i m 150lbs.
