Moving to O-Town
In January it's a strong possibility I'll be moving there.... my parents are retiring and are leaving the state to go travel the oceans on their boat or some crap, well I've got to pick a place to live and I picked O-Town since I've been there before and have buddies I met at Stuntwars that live there.
Got a few questions though since half this forum is from Florida.
1) What can I expect to pay for a two bedroom apartment? I pay $1400 a month for a two bedroom up here in a nice area.
2) I'mma have a 2008 6RR, and I heard that you don't need any insurance in florida... is this true? I mean I know it'd be smart to get liablity and I probably will.
3) Are there alot of stunt spots? I highly doubt anyone would want me to come ride with them Guess I'll have to find my own.
4) How's the weather, can I ride year round?
Thanks in advanced
Defiantly excited as hell.

Re: Moving to O-Town
Currently you do not need motorcycle insurance in the state of Florida.
We have 2 or 3 good spots right now.
Decent duplex style house in East Orlando in 2004/2005 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom with a 1 car garage was $780 a month plus utilities. Nicer places in nicer parts of town can be much more.... but you can pretty much rent a brand new house in a nice development with like 3 or 4 bdrms and 2 baths for 13-1500 a month plus utl's.
Cost of moving: $500
First and Last months Rent: $2,800
Furniture to fill new place: $3,500
You and Tice having Matching 600 RR's.... Priceless.

Re: Moving to O-Town
Well, I would suggest the east coast so your parents can have a place to dock their boat....and if you have a place close to their dock it may be compatible with both of you...and daytona is close to Otown and Daytona is the Home of the 2 lkargest bike events in the world....
Daytona is really the place for bikes... we have healthy bike nights wed and thurs we are setting another one up tues and fri soon...so there are really many options here in florida but you have to stay near the beach!!!!!
