Re: 600rr frame
i just talked to my buddy who has 3 600rr, two 03 and an 07. he said that there is something different between 03/04, then 05 and up. he said the motor mounts are in slightly different locations. and i know for a fact that he has had the motors off and has swaped them in and out so he should know!!

Re: 600rr frame
Yes. My mint streeter is built out of three salvage 05/06 RRs on a clean/straight 03 frame. The frame is the only thing non 05/06 on the bike.
It took a lot of time and initial capital plus my labor but I MADE money on building this bike. I sold off all the spares and came out with a mint bike and made about $1500

Re: 600rr frame
Technically the frames are *slightly* different, at least here in the US. The way the exhaust mounts is a bit different between the 03/04 and 05/06 frames. There is this big cube of metal under the bottom of the frame that is different. However, it made NO difference as far as fitment when it comes to using the 03/04 frame on an 05/06 motor/exhaust system.

I haven't tried swapping any 07 parts on an 03-06 RR. I usually get 1-5 year old bikes at auction, current model year fetches too high of a price for me.
