rock stock until you learn to make whoolies properly then get geared. also punch your friends in the face, no particular reason, just do it.

your friends sound like some followers/posers!

if your runing out of gear on stock youll run out of gear 2xs as fast w/ a 10up sprocket

Re: deciding....need some ?'s answered

just go ahead and do whatever u want to, if u go big in the beginning that is what youll get used to, u got to get used to somethin at least that way u only have to get used to one thing instead of learnin stock and then relearnin big gear

how do you come on here and ask for advice, and then try to tell us what's up.....
if you can wheelie a stock bike you can wheelie a geared bike.... gearing doesnt make wheelies "easier" it allows you to get slower w/out stalling the bike

The big goosey knows what he's talking about.

I've had both a 66 and a 50 on my old F4i each with about a years worth of time on them. I have a 54 on one of my 636's and my other has a 60. There are advantages to every setup. Just do what you want, if you don't like it sell it and start over. Worse case you'll lose 30 bucks after you recoup your funds.

it wont be more controlled with a bigger sprocket it will be a lot more choppy. and first gear you should be able to clutch it right to balance point no problem stock
