soften 12bar

So when i first started the slow stuff, i would scrape my bar and almost always end up corkscrewing. then one day we were just messing around near a grocery-store, and somehow the plastic piece from the handle on the cart made it onto the top of my 12bar.
i left it there because i thought it looked kinda funny, how it said "thank you" on it.
anyway, i was out the other night and scraped it a couple times, but it didn't corkscrew, maybe i'm just getting better? or more likely the plastic dampened the contact of it. it felt smooth, i was able to controllably scrape it after a few times.

i've read a lot of stuff about people not wanting to learn with a flat bar because its not very forgiving ~ this seems like an easy way to fix it.

Re: soften 12bar

yeah, that was meant as info for others that are learning.
flat bars are not very forgiving the first few times.

Re: soften 12bar

i would like to see a pic of that, i always thought someone should make a bar that was like a flat bar but the part that scraped would be round like a pipe so you would never catch an edge. thought of that after my retarded self scraped on the grass with my fifty and the bar turned into a plow and bent my sub frame up like a bannana. and the parts that connected to the bike would have a shock system, like 2 shocks from a car. it would be perfect for people just learning and you would never bend a sub frame. thought about making one but i am lazy.
