Did you read his screenname? (OLD) MAN ROGER
And without a doubt buy the OMR subcage. Best subcage out there.
Best Subcage, Best Price. When you flip an endo the pegs won't stab you in the back of the head. Plus those ESD pegs you already bought would be ******* sweet on his subcage. If you buy a different one you just threw that $80 on the ESD away.
I'd be willing to bet money that if you buy it you won't be unhappy.

Re: Are the subcages worth it?
i won't make a solid peg subcage it makes no sence to me ....
i go from side to side up down back and forth on my bike and the folding pegs have never been a problem for me but i do rotate the peg brackets on there axis so that makes the pegs not fold up by mistake

that and solid peg subcages are more likely to damage your subframe in a bad wreck where as mine the pegs will just fold up in a wreck

Re: Are the subcages worth it?
i actually think they make subcages with solid pegs is because it is way easier to make them like that it takes alot more work to make subcages that have folding pegs ......
if all bikes had the same pegs it would be easy but they don't so you have to make like ten different jigs for all kinds of different style pegs
