2 thumbs up for F/I

Was out this weekend to the lot and long story short a SS idle got away from me and flopped...cage took some but ended up messing up the frame tab by the motor mount and the cage as well. I called up f/i and they helped me out and are sending me the replacement parts for the cage and were awesome to deal with!!! I konw it sucks but frame will get welded and all should be good.

Thanks alot again guys!!!!

seth

Re: 2 thumbs up for F/I

customer service might be good, but in my personal experience f/i is one of the worst cage when it comes to braking tabs off of frames........not a great cage in my opinion........better off with something else

I am aware of that issue, but the fact remains they coulda said **** you we dont care, but at least they made it right man thats what counts....cages can only do so much, and the rest is just part of the game

Yeah, NOW FI decides to step up......guess they're beginning to lose some business.

Good to hear everything worked out, but I'm with everyone else on this one.....if you'd have gotten an SI this thread would not have even been needed.

oh so your one of the new super stunters that never crash huh! if your not crashing, then your not pushing yourself. im not saying your gonna crash because you suck....but the fact is that if your a real stunter, your gonna drop the bike a lot, so your ***** gonna keep breaking until you get an si cage... im telling you this because i had an fi cage and it ended up costing me a lot of money before a finally got smart.

Re: 2 thumbs up for F/I

ya bro! i wasnt being an ***. i just always had **** getting broke. i finally took the fi off after it flexed into my stator cover and smashed it, along with my stator itself. that was not a cheap fix. i have had my si on now for awhile and nothing has broken yet. make sure you tighten ur cage before every ride, this helps a lot.
