i can't really see the crack in the frame. it's really blurry where the motor mount is.
that's odd too....i crashed a SS coaster at about 60 and my bike flipped end over end into the air what seemed like forever and i just had mangled bars and a bent cage.

dude.... he didn't have any motor mount bolt on that side of the cage.....
he is lucky... but any other cage would have came off on the first hit... that **** was straight 12 at 40mph coast to pancake............................

40mph 12oclock to air to pancake to air to flip to pancake on opposite side.
damage to bike: bent front rim, bent bars, broke master cyl, scrapes on tank.
I'd have to say SI did a good job.

I'd say if the cage is still able to mount up it did a pretty good job. Mine took a pancake at 15mph and it was so tweaked I couldn't drive the bike home.

If you guys put ANY cage on your bike.. and end up demolishing it. Or the bike, cracking the motor mount etc..
C'mon Its only common physics that will tell you whats gonna happen in the end..
If you break a weld send it back if they replace that.. if not.. WELD IT URSELF.. U got the steel.. its already been thru a pipe bender.. If something is ovisouly too warped. Cut it out with a Sawzall and Replace the steel..
Simple..
I think its funny when someone breaks a cage and they end up whineing in a thread about its messed up it cant get replaced..
Neways.. Get ur welding skills up ya'll! you should see my bike - there isnt a part, (subframe , 12, cage) that hasnt been rewelded due to Stress testing lol imo

and people that don't run bolts in their cages must not think at all.
damn some of you people are idiots.....you break something when crashing with a cage on and don't even have all the bolts in and tightened down, but expect the cage to work miracles? wow....someone needs a wakeup call.
