just got a 02 gsxr lookin to put a 54 sprocket on it and my question is do i have to get a different chain than the stock one

grind out the swingarm's axle guides so u can move the wheel closer to the rear shock, that way u can run 56 n stock chain

I got a vortex 64..

Came with the chain.. Good idea!!!

And .. My tire is in the perfect position now that it cant get any looser.. so it stays tight as a ************..

Get a cage as well if you dont got one.. and

Id think about getting a stronger subframe

I blew my 01' subframe in a few practices.. now I got a Steel subframe I built.. and a 12 i welded on..

I love my gsxr tho.. still wont adapt to the f4i's .. they are to small and nible.. I like the big and bulkyness of mine !

if u dont buy a new chain buy a -3 front it will do the same as a +9.. and it still looks like ur running stock. and for everyone who says that a smaller front sprocket is bad my bike had a 11 (-5) tooth on a gixxer 600 with same chain for almost 3 years. just keep it lubed and adjusted right
